What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? I’m always on the go – I don’t sit still for long and get bored easily! I enjoy being outdoors, playing sports like hockey and cricket, and I’m always up for trying something new. That said, if the sun’s out, you’ll probably find me happily sunbathing with a good book. I also love great food and exploring new places whenever I get the chance.
What do you enjoy most about your work? If you’d told school-aged Jess she’d end up in an office job, she’d have laughed – sitting at a desk all day? No chance! But I’m incredibly lucky to have a role that’s so much more than that. Every day brings something new: learning, meeting people, building relationships, and making a real difference by helping others. I feel so fortunate to love going to work as I know so many people don’t.
What’s a good bit of business advice you can share? I believe consistency is key in whatever you do – small, repeated efforts add up over time, and that’s when you start to see real results. It’s not always the advice people want to hear, because we often crave quick wins or instant success. But in business (and in life), it’s usually the steady, often unseen work behind the scenes that creates the biggest impact. Whether it’s nurturing relationships, building a quality property portfolio, or building your reputation in the property space – showing up consistently is what really makes a difference.
