Alison is a subject matter expert, with over 35 years HR, payroll and finance experience in both the private and public sector and the military. With us since 2015, Alison provides HR consultancy to our Clients, so if you have a question on auto-enrolment pensions, redundancy, holiday entitlement or performance management you may well end up talking.
Alison particularly enjoys untangling payroll and pension problems and helping her Clients to unpick HR and employment law issues. Alison always makes her Clients feel they’ve come to the right place and helps with her clear, comprehensible, expert advice.
What’s your favourite book? I couldn’t just name one! I tend to re-read old series and I particularly love crime and thrillers by Patricia Cornwell, John Connelly and Kathy Reichs to name a few. I always have their latest on pre-order! I still love Stephen King as well: two that really stand out are Christine and Salem’s Lot.
What’s your favourite quote to live by? Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
What fashion trend do you regret? Ra-ra skirts! And head boppers! (Though you may still catch me wearing those at the odd Christmas party!)
If you could pick any superpower, what would it be? The ability to heal physical and mental pain so I can help others (and myself!)
