What is the Fair Payment Code Gold Award?
The Fair Payment Code is administered by the Office of the Small Business Commissioner. Gold is its highest award level, requiring businesses to pay at least 95% of all UK supplier invoices within 30 days of receipt.
Award holders also commit to being clear, fair and collaborative with their suppliers. These principles encourage straightforward communication about payment terms and a constructive approach to resolving payment issues.
